Faith in Action - The Missions Group offers ways for Parishioners to put their faith into action.

Frederick Soup Kitchen - Many Parishioners have already enjoyed serving in this way. Parishioners usually go as a group and serve dinner to the homeless. The event is usually on 3rd and 5th Monday nights from 5pm to 7pm. It's very easy to do and they are so thankful for the dinner.

 - Matt 25:35 "For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink..."

Shady Grove Pregnancy Center - provides non-judgemental assistance to new mothers and those who might become pregnant. They offer free pregnancy tests, Ultrasounds, classes, clothes for mother and child along with possible assistance to mothers in need as well. Shady Grove Pregnancy Center takes the fear out of the pregnancy and all the unknowns for mothers so that a child might be born.

There are many ways to get involved. Become a donor, attend an annual benefit event, host a baby shower, or help with the baby bottle campaign.

St. Paul Street Evangelist - Volunteers hand out Rosaries and offer prayers. If you like, feel free to introduce yourself and then watch. Volunteers hand out Rosaries to those passing by. Sometimes they keep walking, sometimes you may end up in prayer with them. This is a non-confrontational way to offer our Catholic faith to those who might never get a chance to know Christ in any other way. The group meets once a month on Saturdays for about two hours. More to come - In the future, we'll be helping disabled fellow parishioners with house chores, and visiting our local nursing homes.
