Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church

Welcome to Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church.  We are so happy you have found us!  Our church is located at 17230 Tom Fox Avenue in Poolesville, Maryland.  We are a small and tight-knit community approximately 45 minutes outside Washington, D.C. Join Fr. Justin Huber, NIST scientists, and other people of faith engaged in the sciences as we celebrate a Gold Mass on World Metrology Day 2023.

GRADUATING SENIORS

It is time to apply for the Matthew Kuldell Scholarship!

​

 

 

This Scholarship is available for members of our parish, and is not about financial need, or great grades but is intended for students who have faced and overcome something difficult during high school. Some examples include serious illnesses or injuries to self or family members, bullying, dyslexia, autism, overcoming fears in studies, sports, or the ability to accomplish an academic goal. 

 

Scholarship awards maybe used to continue their education at college, trade school or a vocational school. Applications are available in the gathering space.

If anyone would like to donate to the scholarship fund with a donation, a jar is available in the gathering space.

When: Deadline to submit application is June 4th.

WOMEN'S SODALITY

​Plan to join the women's Sodality, In Mary's Footsteps to pray the Rosary 

• When: Friday's during the month of May at 6:00 PM

• Where: In the Rosary Garden near the Church parking lot

• Following the Rosary, the Sodality will meet at Locals for fun, live entertainment and beverages (wine, beer, tea, coffee, etc.)

The regular monthly meeting will take place on May 21st instead of the 28th due to Memorial Day.

  Guidelines for Attending In-Person Masses​

​

• Masks are recommended for all individuals at all times within the Church. Please bring your own mask.

• Social Distancing of at least 3 feet should be practiced at all times while in the Church

• Everyone is asked to bring their own hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes and to wipe down their pews before and after Mass.

• Please exit the building immediately after Mass.

Online Masses

If you are uncomfortable attending Sunday Mass in person, head to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception on Sundays at 12pm for a live-streamed mass.
