Bishop Knestout encourages all parishioners to review Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship on the political responsibilities of Catholics, which was approved by the full body of bishops in November 2007 and revised for printing in October 2011.

Separated and Divorced Catholics (SDC) of the Archdiocese of Washington is sponsoring "Separation, Divorce, and Beyond" every fourth Sunday of the month at 7:30 pm in the library of St. John the Evangelist School (10201 Woodland Dr., Silver Spring). The program is designed to provide a Catholic perspective on the process of recovery from separation and divorce. Two facilitators will guide the sessions using the book, "Divorce and Beyond" as a discussion starter.
